The fish is great (not surprising, as it is almost the official food SAN Diego), but the real one is. The shrimp is fresh, tender, and very rich and delicious avocado Pico.

Pacific Beach Alehouse

My wife and I went here for dinner after being recommended by local friends. The food was very good, the raw tuna and California chowder were good starters, and the main courses were also good. However, this dinner took a long time to arrive. The waiter and manager were very apologetic and sent us dessert, which was a nice touch. We will definitely be back.

We went there at night. The open-air seaside seats were closed and there were no lights. The environment was really nice and you could watch the seagulls. The American lobster tasted okay, but the dessert was just average, too sweet.

It&#39;s a Mexican-style coffee shop. The coffee they use is made from Mexican coffee beans and tastes very good and unique. San Diego is very close to Mexico, so the cakes here are also very delicious.

The steak in this small shop is pretty good. There are a few more things in it, so the steak is fatter, but it is very thick. The lettuce inside is delicious, and the fried mushrooms on the side taste good.

We were here for brunch too. The short ribs were delicious and plentiful. The fish and chips was good.  They had delicious french toast with berries.    The music was loud, so it was hard to visit. Still would recommend going there.

There are dozens of places in Pacific Beach to get a good burger and beer, but you&apos;re probably here for the location and proximity to the beach. Downstairs is typical gastropub ambiance, but the upstairs roof deck is where it&apos;s at. Get some lovely ocean views, hopefully some good looking people will be around, and the weather pleasant. Staff were all friendly.  $20 Pimento Burger with Jalapeño jelly, pimento cheese, and colossal beer battered onion ring...pretty good! Though not quite $20 good, felt more like a $16-18 burger and fries, which were a slightly smaller portion than usual, and just okay. $8 Soledad Stouts were smooth and tasty.  I&apos;m in no hurry to come back for the food, but the rooftop is great if its available.

Come for the View

Came here solo, as all my travel companions were tired for the night, sat at the bar and had a delicious tequila drink and a pimento cheese burger. The burger was a fresh patty cooked perfect to medium, the jalapeño jam was just the right amount of spicy with the pimento cheese and onion ring. Very good meal. My server was also just the right amount of attentive. The restaurant is small so  dont know that its the best for large groups

Great service, good food, very near beach, moderately priced

Went there for an early dinner and sat outside which is busy but fun people watching. Meal was good…huge portions. Had to wait abit for the waitress from beginning to end.

I was on the rooftop with friends and we loved the food, views, and service. We had wings, fried pickles, burgers, fries and tater tots and loved every bit of it. The burgers were all tasty. Mine was a beer cheese burger and my only comment would be that I would have liked more of the beer cheese but it was one of the best burgers I&#39;ve had in a while. We met friends dining downstairs as we left and they were also very happy with their food. Fun place to gather with friends.

My brother and I went here for lunch today and I must say IT WAS AWESOME!!! Best seat in the house is upstairs by the glass next to the street. The Stairs go up forever!!! If you choose to eat outside up on the roof on a sunny day, Bring sunglasses and a hat. We were waited on by Amy. She was bubbly and amazing never letting our drinks be empty. It seemed that the other waitresses were of the same disposition. I never saw one slacking. She was Knowledgeable about all the items on the menu as well as the beer to get. I got The Cuban sandwich which was amazing and I know CUBAN Sandwiches... It was tasty and filling!!! My brother got the grilled fish tacos and he said he would def get them again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! IT IS SOOO GOOD and surprisingly not expensive. I&#39;d say 80% of the entrees were $12.95 and you will not leave hungry. They also had a bar upstairs and multiple TVs throughout with multiple sporting events playing. It didn&#39;t feel so adult that you couldn&#39;t take your kids but remember it is a brewery. I did not see a kids menu. Daily happy hour specials that were reasonable. Live Music and DJ&#39;s throughout the week from what I saw on a flyer but call ahead to find out the details. Go here!!! You won&#39;t regret it!

The rooftop bar and restaurant was one of the best places we ate at while we were here. The bartender also did not disappoint our drinks were made how we liked them (more alcohol the mix) The food was amazing we ended up dragging out our meal for 2 hours that&#39;s how much we liked this place!

I made reservations here in advance but it wasn&#39;t too busy when we arrived anyhow. We went on a Saturday night around 7. The beers were delicious, I had the flight, then moved on to the mojitos, which were also delicious. At around 10:30 pm they cleared out the tables inside and a DJ started. It was a very fun club atmosphere. We stayed out on the patio and people watched in between dancing. The food for dinner was AMAZING. I had the lobster roll and it was delicious, pricey but delicious. When we go back to SD we will definitely stop by again.
